Every time I have experienced the second type I walk out feeling like my ankles are brand new and am able to go longer periods (years) with out injury. The second type will give you a legit workout (agility drills, squats, etc), put you in pain (the good kind, the pain of getting stronger) and then use massage, ice and TENS afterward. ![]() The first type I experienced, they did minimal massage, and very simple exercises (abc's with my foot, picking up marbles etc) that never seemed to help and I would always end up injured again just months down the road. In my experience with physical therapy there tends to be two types of therapy. I can not say enough good things about Synergy Sports and Rehab! After working as an athletic trainer at Ventura College and various local high schools he decided to pursue his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 2005. Jeff received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science/Athletic Training from San Diego State University in 1999. ![]()
